CONSTRUCTION

  • This bare concentric-lay stranded conductor is made from round aluminum 1350-H19 (extra hard) wires and round aluminum-alloy 6201-T81 core wires for use as overhead electrical conductors.
  • These conductors are also manufactured as compact conductors if required.

APPLICATION

  • ACAR–Conductor02

    Bare overhead conductor used as transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. A good strength-toweight ratio makes ACAR applicable where both ampacity and strength are prime considerations in line design; for equal weight, ACAR offers higher stength and ampacity than ACSR.ACAR wires have the characteristics of adapting to high altitude, rainy years, and cold conditions, and are suitable for power transmission in mountainous areas and the construction of earth power equipment.
