Enamel wire is a type of electromagnetic wire that is formed by coating multiple layers of insulating paint on the surface of a metal conductor (usually copper or aluminum). Its main function is to achieve efficient conversion of electrical energy and magnetic energy. This is accomplished by the current-carrying conductor being subjected to force in a magnetic field or generating induced current for energy conversion.

Due to its excellent insulation and conductivity, enameled wire is primarily applied in two core sectors: energy and industry. In the energy field, it serves as a key material for electromagnetic energy conversion in transformers (e.g., Pole Mounted Transformers), wind power systems, DC-to-AC power conversion equipment, and backup generators. In the industrial sector, it is also widely used as an essential component in various types of electric motors and generators, providing power sources or enabling precise electromagnetic operations for devices such as milling machines, lathes, welders, forklifts, loading dock systems, and industrial lighting.
